I'm pretty sure we've all heard of the Covergirl Lashblast mascara. There are many different versions of Lashblast. Lashblast Lux, Lashblast Volume, Lashblast Fusion, etc. I picked up the Lashblast Volume Waterproof the other day at CVS because I wanted a good waterproof mascara.
The wand isn't very dense but I actually really like it. Here's a comparison between the Covergirl one and an Estee Lauder one. Did you know... that Estee Lauder owns about 83% (or something close to that) of the cosmetics industry? Including MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Origins, Prescriptives, and some fashion brands such as Donna Karan, Michael Kors, and Sean John. Just a fun fact :)

I really like this mascara. It lengthens my lashes and that's just with a few strokes (I normally don't put on that much, but it still really lengthens my lashes). It's also waterproof (well, duh, but there are some mascaras out there that claim to be waterproof, but really aren't that water resistant). As for volume, it does add some volume but more length in my opinion.
A size comparison:
This is a really great mascara, especially if you want a good waterproof one that adds a lot of length. It's $8.99 and you can purchase it at any drugstore. It comes in the colors brown black, black, and very black.
**Tip: if you're looking to purchase a good mascara, I recommend sticking to drugstore and staying away from high-end (if you're already into makeup, you probably know this). Overall, drugstore mascaras are much better than high-end, and are WAY cheaper. Plus, mascara goes bad in around 3 months, so you don't really want to spend $20+ on something that you're going to have to throw away in just 3 months!
